Auto-renewal feature doubles customer retention

Buchroeders is a jewelry store in Columbia, Missouri that has been in continuous operation since 1896. They specialize in diamonds and bridal and have an approximate annual revenue of 5 million, regularly selling over 40 diamond units a month. Disappointed with other programs that often left their customers disappointed, they implemented Assurance. Buchroeders wanted to offer their clients a better option for protecting their jewelry while improving their level of after-sale service and increasing their bottom line. Outlined below are the actual results from Buchroeders implementation of the Assurance program from April 2014 to August 2018.

Over the first year, they saw steady growth with the program and their customers were thrilled with the level of service provided. Starting in 2015, they started implementing the auto-renewal process and saw retention numbers double. Customers were also pleased to not have to worry about a lapse in their policy. Based on this current trajectory they will net over $1.6 million in the first 10 years of the program.
